The Western Force entertain the Rebels at the Leichhardt Oval in Super Rugby AU on Friday. The away side will be up for the challenge after an impressive showing last weeked, while the Force are still without a victory.

Western Force Form & News

The Western Force have been defeated in their opening three Super Rugby AU fixtures. That was expected given their time away from the top table of rugby.

They did impress against the Waratahs, however, going down 23-14 in Sydney on the opening weekend, before being defeated 31-24 by the Reds in their second fixture.

The Force were given a lesson in their last match against a dominant Brumbies side, who claimed a 24-0 victory in Sydney last weekend.

It is likely that the Force will freshen things up with week with Richard Kahui and Kyle Godwin likely to feature in the back-line while Tom Sheminant and Ollie Atkins could come into the front-row.

Rebels Form & News

The Rebels will be happy with their performance last weekend when they beat the Waratahs 29-10 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The Rebels forwards were excellent in the match.

Before that win, the Rebels went down 31-23 to the Brumbies before drawing 18-18 away at the Reds. The Rebels know this is a great chance for them to grab a full-house of points, but they must show the plucky Force some respect.

The Rebels have no new injury concerns while young lock duo Trevor Hosea and Jordan Uelese are certain to keep their places after producing impressive displays against the Waratahs.

Western Force vs Rebels Head to Head

The Western Force and Rebels have both won two matches in their last four meetings. The last time they met was in July 2017, with the Force winning 31-22 in Perth.

Western Force vs Rebels Odds

The Western Force are available at 4.00 to win, while the Rebels are priced at 1.25. A draw pays 29.00.

The handicap is set at 10 points, with both teams paying 1.91 to cover it. In the winning margin market, the Rebels can be backed at 2.15 to win by 13+ points.

Western Force vs Rebels Match Up

The Western Force showed signs of fatigue in their match against the Brumbies, which will hand the Rebels a confidence boost. In their match, the Rebels were excellent and will be eager to put in a similar shift this weekend - especially their forwards, who will likely dominate again.
