That result came during Vila’s seven-match winning run from February to April, where they scored 17 goals. Villa then lost 3-1 at PSG before defeating Southampton 3-0, PSG 3-2 and Newcastle 4-1.

Unai Emery’s outfit couldn’t extend their winning streak and lost 2-1 at Man City. The Villans conceded first, had 1.86 XG and Marcus Rashford levelled before City struck in the 94th minute.

Defender Axel Disasi is ineligible to feature in the FA Cup.
