English Premier League Gameweek 32 Odds

The weekend’s matches start on Friday evening as bottom side Wolves play 18th-placed West Ham, with both teams desperate for a win to beat the drop, although Wolves’ chances of survival are slim. Man City have 9 points to make up on Arsenal, but with the Gunners playing 4 matches in 12 days and with City having a match in hand, this could see a huge swing in the title race.

West Ham vs Wolves

Despite Wolves being unbeaten in 3 matches the bookies are backing the Hammers at home to win at 1.80, with a draw at 3.80. A Wolves win carries odds of 4.20.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth

It looks a certainty for Arsenal at odds of 1.44, but Bournemouth will be up for it considering Arsenal’s injury list, heavy fixture list and back-to-back defeats to Man City and Southampton. Many will be tempted by the odds of 4.80 for a draw and 6.25 for a Bournemouth win - just don’t forget that the Gunners are at home!

Brentford vs Everton

Brentford have comfortable odds at home of 2.15 for the win, with 3.40 for a draw. Everton have pulled off some impressive wins this season, so their odds of 3.30 for victory look attractive.

Burnley vs Brighton

Burnley look resigned to relegation and the odds for them to win at home are encouraging. A Burnley win will pay out at 4.20, with a draw at 3.90. The bookmakers are confident of a Brighton win, offering early odds at 1.77.

Liverpool vs Fulham

Liverpool have been patchy of late while Fulham have put in some good shifts this season, but Liverpool are strong at Anfield and deserve odds of 1.60 for the win. A draw pays out at 4.33, with a Fulham win set at 5.00.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Both sides are relatively safe and have just 2 wins in 5, but with Newcastle losing 3 of their last 5 matches they should be underdogs but are listed at 2.40 for the win (away from home!). Palace pays out at 2.80 for the win, while a draw is a good call at 3.50.

Notts Forest vs Aston Villa

Forest are just 3 points above the drop zone, while Villa are riding high at 4th in the League. Forest haven’t won at home in 6 matches (3 losses in their last 4), while Villa have lost just 2 of their last 8 matches on the road, although those defeats came in their last 3 matches. The odds will tempt Villa fans as they are pegged to win at 2.65 against a Forest win at 2.60. A draw at 3.30 is possibly a good indicator of where this match could be heading.

Sunderland vs Tottenham

Spurs are playing for their Premier League survival, and with Sunderland relaxed in mid-table the odds are spread somewhat evenly for this clash. Sunderland are down to win at 2.60, a Spurs win pays out at 2.65, while a draw is set at 3.40.

Chelsea vs Man City

City are unbeaten in their last 5 in the League and will be proudly polishing their League Cup trophy, while Chelsea are fighting hard to steal 5th place from Liverpool. City are in-form and worthy favourites at 2.15, with 3.80 for a draw. Never write Chelsea off at home, and their odds of 3.00 for a win are likely to interest plenty of fans.

Man United vs Leeds

Leeds are 4 points above the drop zone, but after just 3 points in 5 matches and facing a Man United side with 10 points from 5 matches, Monday’s fixture is looking like leaving Leeds worse off in the relegation race than they are right now. The bookies look to have the early numbers just right, with a home win for Man United pegged at 1.61, a draw set at 4.10 and an unlikely Leeds win set to earn you 5.25 if we see a big upset at Old Trafford.

This is the time in the Premier League for major upsets as we get down to the business end of things. With Arsenal’s heavy schedule and two back-to-back losses we could see them drop points. Relegation sides are mostly facing tough opposition, but it could be the week for Spurs to put some daylight between them and the relegation trapdoor.
