Mozambique Form

Mozambique dropped vital FIFA World Cup qualifying points after crashing to a heavy 4-0 defeat away to Uganda last weekend.

Mozambique had moments to score in the first half against Uganda, but failed to put the ball in the back of the net.

The second half would prove disastrous for the Mambas, as Uganda scored in the 48th, 70th, 84th, and 90th minutes of the match.

Mozambique are 3rd in Group G with 12 points from seven matches. They have won four and lost three.

The Mambas have won two of their last five fixtures, including three defeats. They scored six goals and let in 12 at the back.

Mozambique produced a below-par performance in their previous outing, but they have an excellent record against Botswana, winning five of their seven encounters.

The Zebras have secured one victory in their last five matches, including two defeats and two draws. They scored six goals and conceded eight.

Botswana have lacked consistency lately and have not enjoyed much success against Mozambique in recent clashes, losing three in a row.
