Spain vs Belgium Predictions

Spain did enough to see off Portugal in the round of 16 and have been in solid form at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Belgium had an easy victory over the USA in the previous round but have historically struggled to beat Spain. Spain are predicted to win with BTTS.

  • Spain have won 5 of their last 6 fixtures.
  • Spain have scored 9 goals in 5 matches.
  • Spain have conceded 0 goals in 5 games.
  • Belgium have won 3 of their last 5 fixtures.
  • Belgium have scored 13 goals in 5 matches.
  • Belgium have conceded 5 goals in 5 games.

Head to Head

Spain have the advantage over Belgium, with 12 victories to five, and five draws in 22 meetings.

Spain Form

Spain faced rivals Portugal in a round of 16 match on Monday, coming out on top by a goal to nil after scoring the winner in second-half stoppage time, ending Cristiano Ronaldo's dream of winning the World Cup.

La Roja had 56% possession and 15 shots in the game, with six attempts on target.

Before that result, Spain had no problem in their round of 32 match against Austria, winning 3-0.

Spain struggled at the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign, drawing 0-0 with Cape Verde before thumping Saudi Arabia 4-0 and beating Uruguay 1-0.

La Roja have won four of their last five matches, with one draw. They scored nine goals and conceded none.

Spain have won four consecutive matches at this World Cup and have yet to concede a goal in the tournament, giving them the edge to overcome Belgium and progress to the semi-finals.

Belgium Form

Belgium cruised to an easy victory in their controversial round of 16 match against the United States on Monday, winning 4-1.

The Red Devils had 43% possession and 15 shots in the game, with seven attempts on target.

In the round of 32, Belgium had to dig deep to overcome Senegal, winning 3-2 in extra time after trailing 2-0 for most of the match.

Before that result, Belgium struggled to win their first two FIFA World Cup group matches, drawing 1-1 with Egypt and 0-0 with Iran before thumping New Zealand 5-1.

The Red Devils have secured three victories in their last five fixtures, with two draws. They scored 13 goals and conceded five.

Belgium extended their unbeaten run to 18 matches, and they have found form in recent outings in the tournament, scoring plenty of goals; however, they have a poor record against Spain, losing their last six matches consecutively.
