Madagascar could not find a goal against Sudan during either half, as the match went into extra time.

Madagascar were on course to take the match into a penalty shootout before scoring the winner in the 116th minute to seal the victory against Sudan.

Earlier in the tournament, Madagascar drew 0-0 against Mauritania, lost 2-1 to Tanzania and beat the Central African Republic 2-0, Burkina Faso 2-1, and Kenya 4-3 on penalties in the quarter-finals after the match had ended 1-1.

Morocco defeated Senegal 5-3 on penalties in their CAF African Nations Championship quarter-final clash on Tuesday after the match had ended 1-1 after extra time.

Morocco conceded in the 16th minute of the first half; however, they scored an equaliser against Senegal in the 23rd minute of the match.

Morocco could not find a winning goal against Senegal during the remainder of the contest but sealed the victory via a penalty shootout.
