Bundesliga Predictions - 29 November 2025, Matchday 12

Last updated: 55 minutes ago

In the latest Bundesliga matchup, expect Bayern Munich to showcase their offensive prowess against St. Pauli. Werder Bremen aims for a significant win over FC Koln to boost their standings, taking advantage of their formidable attacking form. On the other hand, Union Berlin's tactic might focus on a tight defense against Heidenheim, potentially playing a conservative game to limit scoring chances in the first half. As Hoffenheim gears up to intensify the pressure on Augsburg, these matches promise riveting action and surprises in the league standings.

  • Bayern Munich vs St. Pauli

Hoffenheim vs Augsburg

Hoffenheim are quietly rolling: five wins and a draw from their last seven matches and coming off a strong run of 3–2 at Wolfsburg, 3–1 against Leipzig and a solid 1–1 at Mainz in the league. Augsburg, by contrast, sit lower down the Bundesliga with a poor 3–1–7 league record, leaking goals and being winless for their last six matches before eking out a 1-0 home win over Hamburger.

With Hoffenheim scoring freely and Augsburg still inconsistent, this feels like an away side that can be taken on with relish, so I’m leaning towards Hoffenheim taking a few goals (and three points) in another open, high-chance game.

Bayern Munich vs St. Pauli

Bayern come into this clash after a 3–1 Champions League loss to Arsenal, but in the Bundesliga they’ve been ruthless: 31 points from 11, 41 goals scored and still unbeaten at the top of the table.

St. Pauli, sitting 16th, have lost their last eight league games and have one of the leakiest defences in the division, recently going down to Freiburg and Union with barely a whimper on the back of a 4-0 thumping at home from Borussia Mönchengladbach. On form, firepower and depth this looks like a classic Allianz mismatch – more about how many Bayern score than anything else.

Werder Bremen vs FC Köln

Werder are in decent nick in mid-table: ninth in the standings and with two wins, two draws and just one defeat from their last five league matches, including home victories over Wolfsburg and Union and solid draws at Mainz and Heidenheim.

Köln sit one point and one place behind them but arrive off a much bumpier run – one win and four defeats in their last five in all competitions, conceding three-plus goals in their losses to Frankfurt, Gladbach and Bayern… and they will be without injured defender Joël Schmied with a thigh strain until mid-December. With Bremen the steadier outfit at the Weserstadion and Köln playing wide-open football, I like Werder slightly more in what could easily turn into a lively, both-teams-to-score type game.

Union Berlin vs Heidenheim

Union are hovering around mid-table but have taken useful momentum from a 1–0 away win at St. Pauli and a gutsy 2–2 draw with Bayern, extending a run that has them looking more like the awkward, physical side nobody wants to face again.

Heidenheim, by contrast, are deep in the relegation mix at the bottom of the Bundesliga: winless in their last eight across all competitions and battered 6–0 away to Leverkusen before being toasted 3–0 by ‘Gladbach, with only draws against Frankfurt and Bremen to show for the past month. With their defence in tatters and confidence low, backing Heidenheim to keep Union out would be the preserve of the super-optimist. As a realist I’m leaning towards Union’s greater stability and set-piece threat seeing them through.

Verdict

Hoffenheim to crank up the pressure on Augsburg, while Bayern Munich to pulverise St. Pauli.

Werder Bremen to add more points with a win over FC Koln, and Union Berlin to offer little to visitors Heidenheim.
