Cagliari vs Bologna

Bologna have beaten Cagliari in four of their last four matches. Bologna have won two and drawn one of their last three matches, while Cagliari have won, lost and drawn their last three. The hosts also have a 6:6 goal ratio, while Bologna have scored 9:5 this season, including six in their last three Serie A games, so they should have the laces to overcome Cagliari.

Genoa vs Parma

Genoa are winless after six matches, which includes four defeats, three in their last three matches. Parma haven’t fared a whole lot better, but their last three matches include a draw, a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Lecce and a 2-1 home win over Torino that saw Mateo Pellegrino score twice after his winner the week before in the Coppa Italia.

Atalanta vs Lazio

Two recent losses have kept Lazio in the bottom half of the table, while Atalanta are up in 6th spot after three draws and two wins in their last five games. Lazio have netted six times in their last two games, and Atalanta have scored 11 from their six matches, so I’m expecting a bit of a goalfest. The form book suggests Atalanta should take the win, but Lazio’s performances in the last two games suggest they will be heading up the table. Hard to call this result… but expect goals!

Cremonese v Udinese

Udinese started the season with a draw and two wins, but their last three matches have brought a draw and two defeats. Cremonese’s superb start to the season (two wins followed by four draws) ended away to Inter, who were brilliant in breaking down the visitors’ tight defence. Cremonese fought back to score a consolation goal against Inter, so I can see them having the confidence to take Udinese out in Monday's evening match.
