Arrows were outshot 22-5 and scored with their only shot on target in a 1-0 win at Mamelodi Sundowns. In midweek, they beat Stellenbosch 1-0 at home in the PSL.

Sundowns have won just eight of their last 15 matches. They need a win here by two goals to guarantee a spot in the MTN8 final vs Orlando Pirates.

A late goal rescued a 1-1 draw away at Kaizer Chiefs before beating Marumo Gallants 2-0 in the league. Last weekend saw a 1-0 home loss to Golden Arrows in the MTN8 despite a 25-8 shot count in their favour. 

In midweek, the Brazilians beat AmaZulu 5-2 in the PSL. Sundowns outshot their opponents 21-8 in a dominant attacking display. 

Predicted Lineups & Team News


Golden Arrows (4-3-3): Maova; Shezi, Jiyane, Mabaso, Maluleke; Dlamini, Zwane, Maxwele; Gasa, Dion, Sithole.

Arrows have a doubt over captain Ayanda Jiyane in defence. Eroine Agnikoi is on standby to deputise once again.

Sede Dion was given a partial rest in midweek but is set to return to the starting XI here. 

Mamelodi Sundowns (4-2-3-1): Williams; Morena, Kekana, Khoza, Basadien; Mokoena, Allende; Ndlovu, Mailula, Matthews; Leon.

Sundowns are without defender Keanu Cupido and Khuliso Mudua. Thapelo Morena could cover at right back for the latter.  

Teboho Mokoena is available again in midfield after a gashed leg. Arthur Sales is ruled out in attack and Nuno Santos is a question mark for unknown reasons.
