Sundowns have injury doubts over two key forward in Gaston Sirino and Kermit Erasmus. Andile Jali remains absent in midfield so Sphelele Mkhulise could start again.
Lyle Lakay is suspended at left back which is a problem for Sundowns with little quality backup. Aubrey Modiba could deputise in that role.

Coach Josef Zinnbauer hopes to have Thulani Hlatshwayo available in defence after illness but this game may come too soon for goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
