Durban City sit fifth in the PSL table with 15 points from ten matches. They have won three of their four home matches this season.

They beat Magesi 3-1 at home after trailing 1-0 before beating Polokwane City 4-1 in the Carling Knockout Cup after three goals scored in extra time. An 88th-minute set-piece goal leaked led to a 1-0 loss at AmaZulu.

Their last match saw a disappointing 3-1 extra-time loss at Richards Bay in the Carling Knockout after leading 1-0 after 83 minutes. Durban City were outshot 25-7 in a deserved loss.

Gavin Hunt could be without attacking midfielder Haashim Domingo due to injury. There could be some changes to the XI after the below-par performance last time out.

Centre back Siphamandla Ncanana is an injury doubt. He should shake off a knock to start.

After a 0-0 CAF draw away to AS Simba, they drew 0-0 at home to struggling Siwelele. On Sunday, Chiefs beat AS Simba 3-1 in their CAF second leg after a strong first-half showing.

Chiefs are without defenders Rushwin Dortley and Paseka Mako. Thabiso Monyane and Inacio Miguel need late fitness tests to determine if they can start at the back.

Centre forward Khanyisa Mayo is out injured. Glodi Lilepo should shake off an ankle injury to start on the wing.
