Mamelodi Sundowns won 4-1 at home to Chippa United on Friday. Below are the player ratings for the Sundowns starting XI and subs. The Brazilians moved to the top of the PSL table after the victory.

STARTING XI:

Ronwen Williams: 6

The goalkeeper had a very quiet game. As usual, his passing and buildup play were exceptional.

Zuko Mdunyelwa: 7

The right back stepped in well for a rare start. He got forward a lot, without ever really looking like a threat.

Grant Kekana: 7

The central defender had a fine game at the back. He won his headers and was safe and secure on the ball.

Keanu Cupido: 7

The centre back gave a strong display. When Chippa threw the kitchen sink at Sundowns, he stood firm.

Aubrey Modiba: 6

The left back had an off game. His passing was a bit sloppy and he looked tired after playing on Tuesday for Bafana Bafana.

Jayden Adams: 8

The midfielder was outstanding and a real man of the match candidate. He ran the show in deeper areas and broke lines with ease.

Marcelo Allende: 7

The midfielder opened the scoring with a good strike from distance. He kept things ticking over well.

Katlego Ntsabaleng: 8 - Man of the Match

The on-loan midfielder beautifully assisted the second goal. He looked adept in tight spaces and made sure that some big-name creators were not overly missed.

Nuno Santos: 7

The Portuguese midfielder assisted the opening goal in a tight space. He performed well but was taken off at half-time to spread out the minutes.

Tashreeq Matthews: 6

After a quiet first half, he ended a 22-game scoring drought after the break. He had a hand in the fourth goal too.

Iqraam Rayners: 6

The lethal striker scored a fine header. Most of his efforts were spent on making runs which weren't found. He pressed well from the front.

The veteran playmaker got a rare half of football. He showed flashes of class he was not at his best.
