The 2025/26 Premier Soccer League (PSL) comes to a conclusion this Saturday with all fixtures kicking off at 15:00 SAST. After eight years of Sundowns dominance, Pirates have put up a serious fight for the title, and will it if they take all three points on Saturday.
Due to the CAF Champions League final taking place on Sunday, Sundowns finished their campaign early and currently top the table with 68 points. Pirates have 66 with this final game to play.
The Buccaneers won't have it all their own way either as they travel to play Orbit College who need a result to get out of the relegation playoff spot. So, Pirates will be nervous, Orbit College will be desperate - it should be a very entertaining fixture.
Elsewhere there is a KZN derby with Durban City hosting AmaZulu. The hosts, in their debut PSL season, need just a point to guarantee them a top eight finish while AmaZulu will be looking for a victory to guarantee them a very impressive fourth place finish.
At the bottom of the table things are just as tight with Magesi bottom on 21 points, Orbit College and Marumo Gallants just above with 24 and Chippa United a further point clear on 25. All of these teams can still end up in the relegation playoff spot.
