The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the Betway Premiership Monthly Awards winners for the January-February Period.

The accolades went to representatives of Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.

Coach of the Month

Mamelodi Sundowns' Miguel Cardoso scooped the award after leading his club to four victories in four matches, including a 2-1 victory at Orlando Pirates.

Cardoso faced competition from Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and Stellenbosch FC's Gavin Hunt, who took ten points from four league matches at the Winelands Club.

Player of the Month

This award went to Pirates' playmaker Relebohile Mofokeng. The diminutive attacker scored three goals and assisted three goals in six matches.

He also claimed three Man of the Match awards in a row.

Goal of the Month

This honour went to Kaizer Chiefs' Congolese forward, Glody Lilepo. His long-range goal against Marumo Gallants was given kudos by the awards panel.

At the time, many felt that the goal came from a miscued cross. The benefit of the doubt has gone the way of the Chiefs star.
