Elche vs Atletico Madrid

Elche are in the drop zone but there are five sides within one win of them. Atletico Madrid are in the Champions League places but need a few wins to secure their place, but their form has been poor.

After a 12-match winless streak Elche have put up a fight for their La Liga survival, winning three of their last four matches in all competitions. They are undefeated in their last four at home and have lost just two in 10 home matches.

Atletico are travelling badly and have lost six of their last seven matches, although ironically beating Barcelona 2-0 at the Camp Nou. Atletico are a quality side so I’m backing them to pull things together to scratch out a draw against a fighting Elche.

Real Sociedad vs Getafe

Both teams are within striking distance of 6th place and a spot in the Conference League next season. Both sides are in good form having each lost just three matches in their last 10 outings, so this match looks destined to go the way of the hosts.

Real Sociedad have won seven of their last 10 home matches without a loss. Getafe have won three of their last five on the road, but those are their only wins in their last 10 on the road as they have struggled to score. Having lost five and drawn two on the road in their last 10, I’m backing high-scoring Real Sociedad to take the home win.

Barcelona vs Celta Vigo

Barca are nine points clear at the top of La Liga with just seven matches to come. The hosts have won 26 of their 31 matches this season with a goal difference of plus-54.

Celta Vigo have had a decent season and are sitting in sixth place but they have lost four of their last five matches and have just three wins in 10. Barca have won 23 of their last 25 matches at home and look firm favourites to take the win, but the better odds rest in match goals.

Celta Vigo have scored just one goal in their last three matches while Barca have netted 28 times in their last 10 matches. At home Barca have conceded just four goals in their last eight matches and have kept five clean sheets. Considering Celta Vigo’s lack of goals recently I’m backing a Barca win to nil.
