Levante to down struggling Sevilla at home.

Levante vs Sevilla

This is a bitter relegation battle between 19th-placed Levante and Sevilla in 16th place, but with at least seven teams battling for survival this is a must-win for both sides.

Sevilla’s form is poor as they have lost five of their last eight matches on the road, winning just once. Levante have been good value at home and are undefeated in their last four matches, winning three. They have also lost just two of their last 10 matches at home.

This looks like a solid home win for Levante as they fight for their La Liga survival.

Rayo Vallecano vs Espanyol

The home side are firmly in the relegation fight in 15th place. Espanyol’s place at 12th doesn’t protect them from the relegation battle, although one win should realistically guarantee them a place in the Spanish top flight next season.

Neither side is in great form, with Rayo losing four of their last six matches, with just one goal in their stretch of four defeats. Espanyol are having a disastrous time of things as they are winless in their last 14 matches, losing nine times.

At home Rayo have won three of their last five matches, conceding just two goals while scoring eight. Espanyol have been winless in their last eight matches on the road, but have scored in all but one of their last 10 matches, with that match ending 0-0 against Betis. This looks like a clear win for Rayo, but I’m backing both teams to score

Real Oviedo vs Villarreal

Bottom-of-the-table Real Oviedo have a fight on their hands against 3rd-placed Villareal, although they have scrapped three wins in their last four matches.

The home side ended a five-match losing streak by winning three of their last four matches with three clean sheets. Villareal are pushing to secure their Champions League status and need a couple of wins before they can rest easy, so they will go hard at Oviedo.

Villareal have six wins and a draw in their last 10 matches, but their form on the road is poor, losing five and winning just two of their last nine matches. Villareal are a quality side, but I’m backing a draw based on Oviedo’s recent form, home ground advantage and Villareal’s poor record on the road.

Wins for Levante and Rayo Vallecano, while Real Oviedo to pull off a draw against 3rd-placed Villarreal.
