Head to head

Tottenham beat Bodo/Glimt 3-1 in the Europa League semi-final first leg. It was the only previous meeting between the sides.

Bodo/Glimt Form

Bodo/Glimt are undefeated in seven of their last nine matches in all competitions and have scored 25 goals.

The Norwegian outfit lost 2-0 at Lazio in the Europa League quarter-final before drawing 3-3 on aggregate and winning on penalties. A 2-2 draw with Molde and victories against Junkeren 5-1 and KFUM 3-0 followed.

Kjetil Knutsen’s side lost 3-1 at Tottenham in the Europa League semi-final. Bodo/Glimt were 3-0 down before Ulrik Saltnes struck an 83rd-minute consolation.

Bodo/Glimt Injuries & Team News

Midfielder Daniel Bassi is ruled out with an injury.

Attacker Kasper Høgh has scored seven Europa League goals in 12 appearances and is likely to start.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham are winless in five of their previous seven matches, scoring 10 and conceding 16. Spurs’ only wins during this spell have come in the Europa League.

One of those victories was a 1-0 triumph at Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-final. Tottenham then lost 2-1 to Nottingham Forest and 5-1 at Liverpool before beating Bodo/Glimt 3-1.

Spurs’ inconsistent run of form continued on Sunday with a 1-1 draw at West Ham. Wilson Odobert scored after just 15 minutes and Tottenham conceded the equaliser before half time.

Tottenham Injuries & Team News

Antonín Kinsky, Fraser Forster, Sergio Reguilón and Timo Werner are ineligible to play in the Europa League.

Defender Radu Dragusin and midfield pair James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall are injured.

Forward Son Heung-Min is also unavailable due to injury.

Verdict

Bodo/Glimt have to attack to claw back into this Europa League tie. The Norwegian side score and concede a lot and BTTS and over 2.5 goals are likely against Tottenham.
