Israel vs Kosovo

Israel have started the Nations League badly, losing 3-1 to Austria and 3-0 to Ireland. Israel have lost five of their last nine matches, failing to score in four of those matches.

Kosovo also lost 3-1 to Austria but that came after a heartening 1-0 win over Ireland in their Nations League opener. They have five wins in their last nine matches, along with two draws and have failed to score in just one of their last nine matches.

They’ve also kept five clean sheets in their last 10 matches, and with Israel’s attack force struggling iI’m backing a Kosovo win with a clean sheet as the odds are enticing.

Wales vs Norway

Wales have lost both of their opening Nations League matches (1-0 vs Portugal, 2-0 vs Denmark) to extend their poor run without a win. They are winless in six matches, losing four times with just four goals.

Norway beat Denmark 3-2 before narrowly losing 2-1 to Portugal, but their attacking threat should have their Welsh counterparts on high alert.

Erling Haaland has scored in each of his last seven matches, totalling 10 goals, so against struggling Wales I’m backing him to have plenty of shots on goal which offers a nice payout for the risk factor.

Germany vs Serbia

Neither side has started the Nations League well, with both sides being winless in their last four matches. Germany drew 1-1 with the Netherlands before a shock 1-0 home defeat to Greece, while Serbia have lost both matches by 2-1 scorelines.

Germany are heavy favourites at home in Munich despite three defeats in their last four matches, with just three goals. They won their previous 11 matches with 37 goals, so I’m backing them to break their goal drought against a Serbia side that has conceded 18 goals in their last nine matches.

Serbia average a goal a game over their last 10 matches, so I’m weary of backing a Germany win to nil as they haven’t kept a clean sheet in seven matches. A game with plenty of goals seems a solid bet.

Denmark vs Portugal

Denmark recovered from a 3-2 defeat to Norway by beating Wales 2-0, while Portugal have won both of their opening matches (1-0 vs Wales, 2-1 vs Norway). Portugal’s perfect start makes them a good choice to back for the win although Cristiano Ronaldo’s training absence has created some uncertainty.

Denmark has three defeats in their last seven matches while Portugal have lost just once in 12 matches, that defeat coming against Spain (1-0), so the visitors are an easy choice to back.
