UEFA Nations League Predictions

Liechtenstein vs Lithuania

Liechtenstein have endured another difficult run, losing 14 of their last 15 competitive matches and beating Tanazania 1-0. They average just 0.1 goals per game while conceding 3.4, although several defeats have come against significantly stronger opposition, including their recent 7-0 loss to Belgium.

Lithuania have also struggled, recording six defeats, two wins and two draws in their last 10 competitive fixtures. They average only 0.7 goals per game and have failed to win by two or more goals in 18 consecutive matches. Given Lithuania's limited attacking output an away win to nil looks on the cards.

Norway vs Denmark

Norway have won eight of their last 10 competitive matches, averaging an impressive 3.7 goals per game. Their World Cup adventure ended with a narrow 2-1 quarter-final defeat to England, but Erling Haaland remains a major threat, having scored 62 goals in 55 internationals. Alexander Sørloth misses out through injury.

Denmark have won five of their last 10 competitive outings, scoring 2.6 goals per game but conceding 1.7. They lead the overall rivalry with 52 victories in 86 meetings, although Norway's current attacking form makes this a difficult assignment. Over 3.5 goals looks an attractive betting option, with both teams possessing considerable firepower.

Portugal vs Wales

Portugal begin their Nations League title defence under new manager Jorge Jesus, having lost just twice in their last 10 competitive matches. Cristiano Ronaldo remains available, while Bruno Fernandes and João Neves provide additional attacking quality. Portugal have averaged 2.3 goals per game while conceding only one.

Wales have won five of their last 10 competitive fixtures, although injuries to Harry Wilson, Nathan Broadhead and Karl Darlow weaken their options. Portugal to win looks the straightforward selection, but Wales could offer better betting value, with a two-goal defeat looking a solid bet.

Serbia vs Greece

Serbia have endured a difficult year, winning just one of their four friendlies in 2026. Defeats to Spain, Cape Verde and Mexico came by a combined 11-1 scoreline, leaving plenty of room for improvement ahead of their Nations League opener.

Greece have just one win in their last nine matches, losing five of those clashes. They fell to narrow 1-0 defeats to Paraguay and Italy. Their attacking options include Christos Tzolis, Vangelis Pavlidis and in-form youngster Charalampos Kostoulas. With neither side arriving in convincing international form and both struggling to score as well as conceding, this could be headed for a draw.
