The Challengers and Tigers vie for a playoff spot in their upcoming cricket match. Key players like Tanzid Hasan and Tom Bruce for the Challengers and Parvez Hossain Emon and Afif Hossain for the Tigers have been delivering strong performances. With the Challengers rediscovering their form and the Tigers ending their losing run, the match offers a thrilling clash. It's a tough call, but the Challengers are slightly favored.

Chattogram Challengers vs Khulna Tigers Predictions

Two points separate fourth-placed Challengers and the Tigers in fifth place. This is the Challengers’ last game but a win would put them up into joint second place, which should see them through to the playoffs. The Tigers have to win at least one of their last two matches for a shot at the playoffs, but they will be through if they win both.

  • Chattogram Challengers’ Tanzid Hasan has scored 41 & 70 in his last 3 innings.
  • Chattogram Challengers’ Tom Bruce has scored 50*, 24 & 48 in his last 5 innings.
  • Khulna Tigers’ Parvez Hossain Emon has scored 73, 33 & 40 in his last 4 innings.
  • Khulna Tigers’ Afif Hossain has scored 24, 29 & 43* in his last 4 innings.

Head-to-Head

The Tigers have won three of the last five matches against the Challengers, who have won two of those matches.

Chattogram Challengers Form

The Challengers have won two of their last five games, beating Dhaka by 10 runs in their last match.

The Challengers scored 159/6 off their 20 overs against Dhaka. Tanzid Hasan top-scored with 70, backed up by 48 from Tom Bruce.

Dhaka looked on course for the win but lost their way against tight bowling from Shuvagata Hom (2/12) and Bilal Khan (1/24).

Chattogram Challengers Team News

The Challengers seem to be rediscovering their form and are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

Khulna Tigers Form

The Tigers ended a five-match losing run by beating Dhaka by five wickets with more than four overs to spare.

Superb bowling from Mukidul Islam (3/18) and Wayne Parnell (3/19) restricted Dhaka to 128/7 off their 20 overs.

Afif Hossain (43* off 21) and Parvez Hossain Emon (40 off 30) raced to the win off 15.2 overs

Khulna Tigers Team News

There are no injury reports from the Khulna Tigers squad.

Verdict

I am backing Chattogram Challengers to win. I am also backing Tanzid Hasan to top score for Chattogram Challengers.

Parvez Hossain Emon is a good bet to top score for the Khulna Tigers.
