Chattogram Challengers vs Rangpur Riders Predictions

Both sides have played seven and won five, but Rangpur have the better form, winning their last four in a row. The Challengers have lost two of their last six games. Rangur will be weakened as they have lost Babar Azam to the Pakistan Super League, along with Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi, who are playing in the Afghanistan white-ball series against Sri Lanka.

  • Chattogram Challengers’ Tom Bruce has scored 63, 51*, 27 & 50* in his last 4 innings.
  • Chattogram Challengers’ Josh Brown has scored 140, 53 & 38 in his last 3 innings.
  • Rangpur Riders’ Shakib Al Hasan has scored 43, 82 & 34 in his last 6 innings.
  • Rangpur Riders’ Nurul Hasan has scored 26, 15*, 46 &16* in his last 4 innings.

Head-to-Head

The Rangers have won four of their five matches against the Challengers.

Chattogram Challengers Form

The Challengers bounced back from a seven-wicket defeat against Victorians by beating Barishal by 16 runs.

The Challengers struggled to reach 145/5 off their 20 overs, Josh Brown (38) and Tom Bruce (50*) hitting six sixes between them.

Tamim Iqbal (49) got Barishal off to a good start, but Shohidul Islam (3/13) knocked them both over as they struggled to reach 129/8 off their 20 overs.

Chattogram Challengers Team News

Rangpur Riders Form

The Riders made it four wins in a row by beating Dhaka by 60 runs.

The Riders posted 175/4 off their 20 overs, Babar Azam top-scoring with 47 off 43 balls.

Dhaka were bowled out for 115 off 18 overs. Shakib Al Hasan bowled superbly to return figures of 3/16.

Top-performer Babar Azam has left the team to take part in his home Pakistan Super League. Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi are way on national duty.

Verdict

I am backing Chattogram Challengers to win. I am also backing Tom Bruce to top score for Chattogram Challengers.

Shakib Al Hasan is a good bet to top score for the Rangpur Riders.
