Comilla Victorians vs Rangpur Riders Predictions

It’s a top-of-the-table clash between 1st-placed Riders on 18 points and Victorians on 14 points in second place. This is the last match for the Riders, and a win will secure them top spot. Victorians have two matches to play, and if they win both they could pip the Riders to top spot on net run rate.

  • Rangpur Riders’ Shakib Al Hasan has scored 34, 27, 69, 62 & 29 in his last 5 innings.
  • Rangpur Riders’ Brandon King top-scored with 45 off 22 balls in the win over Barishal.
  • Comilla Victorians’ Litton Das has scored 45, 60 & 85 in his last 5 innings.
  • Comilla Victorians’ Towhid Hridoy has scored 108* & 91* in his last 4 innings.

Head-to-Head

The Rangers have won three of the last five matches between the two sides, with the Victorians winning the other two matches.

Comilla Victorians Form

After winning five on the bounce, the Victorians lost to the Strikers by 12 runs.

The Strikers posted 177/5 off their 20 overs, despite super bowling from Sunil Narine (2/16).

The Victorians got off to a great start with Litton Das blasting 85 off 58 balls, but they fell 12 short of their target.

Comilla Victorians Team News

Comilla Victorians will be looking for greater consistency from their batters if they hope to outscore the Riders.

Rangpur Riders Form

The Riders made it eight wins in a row when they sneaked home against Barishal by just a single wicket and with three balls to spare.

Abu Hider (5/12, econ 3.0) knocked over the Barishal middle-order as they struggled to reach 151/9 off their 20 overs.

Brandon King (45 off 22 balls) got his side off to a flying start, and James Neesham (28 off 17) kept them on target for a thrilling one-wicket win in the final over.

Rangpur Riders Team News

Rangpur Riders are in great form and are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

Verdict

I am backing Rangpur Riders to win. I am also backing Shakib Al Hasan to top score for Rangpur Riders.

Litton Das is a good bet to top score for the Comilla Victorians.
