Comilla Victorians vs Sylhet Strikers Predictions

Victorians are one win behind the Riders in top spot, but they have a game in hand. A win over the Strikers would put Victorians in a battle for top spot over their last two games. The Strikers have won just three of their 10 matches and are out of contention for the playoffs.

  • Comilla Victorians’ Towhid Hridoy has scored 108* & 91* in his last 3 innings.
  • Comilla Victorians’ Will Jacks has scored 108* in the recent win over the Challengers.
  • Sylhet Strikers’ Benny Howell has scored 30* & 53*  in his last 2 innings.
  • Sylhet Strikers’ Harry Tector has scored 45 & 61 in his last 5 innings.

Head-to-Head

Victorians have won their last four matches against the Strikers.

Comilla Victorians Form

The Victorians made it five wins in a row when they beat the Tigers by seven wickets.

The Tigers posted 164/8 off their 20 overs, Matthew Forde taking 2/36 off his four overs.

The Victorians raced to the win in the 17th over for the loss of just three wickets. Towhid Hridoy was in the runs again with 91* off 47 balls, and he enjoyed good support from Jaker Ali (40*).

Comilla Victorians Team News

Comilla Victorians are in excellent form and are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

Sylhet Strikers Form

The Strikers picked up their second loss in four matches when they lost to Barishal by 18 runs.

Barishal posted 183/6 off their 20 overs despite superb bowling by Tanzim Hasan Sakib (3/48).

The Strikers collapsed to 35/5 before Ariful Haque (57 off 31) and Benny Howell (53 off 32) did their best to keep their playoff hopes alive, but they could only reach 165/8 off their 20 overs.

Sylhet Strikers Team News

With their season effectively over, the Strikers might look to give game time to some of their squad players.

Verdict

I am backing Comilla Victorians to win. I am also backing Towhid Hridoy to top score for Comilla Victorians.

Benny Howell is a good bet to top score for the Sylhet Strikers.
