Fortune Barishal vs Rangpur Riders Predictions

Barishal are on the edge of the playoffs after five wins from their last six. They are all but through, but a win will ensure them of making the playoffs. The Riders have won their last seven matches to claim first place on the table, but will want to secure it with wins in their last two matches.

  • Rangpur Riders’ Shakib Al Hasan has scored 34, 27, 69 & 62 in his last 4 innings.
  • Rangpur Riders’ Mahedi Hasan has scored 60 & 30 in his last 2 innings.
  • Fortune Barishal’s Mushfiqur Rahim (292 runs) is 4th in the BPL runs list.
  • Fortune Barishal’s Tamim Iqbal has scored 49 & 71 in his last 4 innings.

Head-to-Head

Barishal have won three of the four matches between the two sides, with the Riders claiming one win.

Fortune Barishal Form

Barishal made it three wins on the bounce when they beat the Strikers by 18 runs.

Barishal scored 183/6, with Mushfiqur Rahim (52 off 32) and Kyle Mayers (48 off 31) doing the damage with the bat.

The Strikers fell 18 runs short, Kyle Mayers bowling four superb overs to return figures of 3/12.

Fortune Barishal Team News

There are no injury reports from the Fortune Barishal squad.

Rangpur Riders Form

The Riders pulled off an incredible seventh win in a row when they downed the Challengers by 18 runs.

The Riders posted a formidable 187/8 off their 20 overs thanks to some power hitting from Shakib Al Hasan (62 off 39) and Mahedi Hasan (34 off 17).

The Challengers came close but weren’t able to keep up with the asking rate, largely due to brilliant bowling by Dwaine Pretorius (3/14) and Mahedi Hasan (2/17).

Rangpur Riders Team News

Rangpur Riders are in excellent form and are unlikely to make any changes to their side for this clash.

Verdict

I am backing Rangpur Riders to win. I am also backing Shakib Al Hasan to top score for Rangpur Riders.

Mushfiqur Rahim is a good bet to top score for the Fortune Barishal.
