Khulna Tigers vs Sylhet Strikers Predictions

The final group match of this year's BPL sees the eliminated Strikers face up to the fifth-placed Tigers. Fortune Barishal play the match before the Tigers play Strikers… and if Barishal lose big it opens up a small window of opportunity for the Tigers to sneak into the playoffs on net run rate… but only if they also win big.

  • Khulna Tigers’ Anamul Haque has scored 67*, 18 & 35 in his last 5 innings.
  • Khulna Tigers’ Shai Hope has scored 32 & 31 in his last 2 innings.
  • Sylhet Strikers’ Benny Howell has scored 30*, 53 & 62* in his last 3 innings.
  • Sylhet Strikers’ Kennar Lewis scored 33 in the win over Victorians.

Head-to-Head

The Strikers have won the last three matches between the two sides.

Khulna Tigers Form

The Tigers came down to earth after their win over Dhaka to collect their sixth win from seven when they lost to the Challengers by 65 runs.

The Challengers racked up 192/4 off their 20 overs, Wayne Parnell (1/27) performing the best with the ball.

The Tigers were bowled out for 127 with one ball in hand, Anamul Haque top–scoring with 35 off 24 balls.

Khulna Tigers Team News

The Tigers might make some changes to their side as they need a major improvement with bat and ball if they hope to sneak into the playoffs.

Sylhet Strikers Form

The Strikers bounced back from the loss to Barishal by picking up their third win in four when they defeated the Victorians by 12 runs.

The Strikers scored freely to post 177/5 off their 20 overs, Benny Howell blasting 62* off 31 balls.

The Victorians struggled to keep up with the target and ended on 165/6 off their 20 overs. Tanzim Hasan Sakib (3/33) was the destroyer-in-chief with the ball.

Sylhet Strikers Team News

Sylhet Strikers are in good form and are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

Verdict

I am backing Khulna Tigers to win. I am also backing Anamul Haque to top score for Khulna Tigers.

Benny Howell is a good bet to top score for the Sylhet Strikers.
