Both teams have been struggling to pull off wins, but with Lancashire close to losing out on the playoffs the momentum swings to Glamorgan, who have won two of their last three matches.

Lancashire suffered a two-wicket defeat with one ball in hand against Leicestershire in their second-last match, with only Joseph Moores showing form with the bat.

They went down heavily to Yorkshire in their last match, losing by 106 runs after being hit for 213/7 and responding with just 107, with Liam Livingstone’s 44 the only score above 16 for Lancashire. Tom Aspinall picked up 3/32 in just three overs.

Glamorgan Form

Glamorgan looked in good form after back-to-back wins over Somerset by seven wickets and four wickets in the space of just five days. Their joy was short-lived as they fell to Worcestershire by 27 runs the following day.

Asa Tribe (48) and Sean Dickson (63 off 36 balls) were key to Glamorgan’s last-ball win in the second match against Somerset, but a batting collapse against Worcestershire saw them rolled for 141 in their last match.

Kiran Carlson (35 off 24) was the only top-order batter to pass 18 and the opener has been in great form with the bat this season.

Lancashire’s Matty Hurst has just one score (57) above two in four innings and will be expected to put some runs on the board. Glamorgan’s Ben Kellaway’s spot is under even greater pressure after four scores under 10 in his four innings in the series.
