T20 Blast Predictions - 1 July 2026
Derbyshire vs Lancashire
Lancashire are the runaway favourites after back-to-back wins, while Derbyshire come into the match on the back of two defeats followed by a tie against Yorkshire.
Liam Livingstone has scored 81, 85* and 74 in his last three matches in the Blast so he’s worth backing to put runs on the board. For Derbyshire, Wayne Madsen scored 41 and 62 in his last two matches and has odds of 3.75 to be his side’s best batter.
Essex vs Surrey
Both teams are on 16 points with four wins from seven in a tight South Group. Essex had won four on the bounce before taking a 130-run hammering from Northants, while Surrey have lost three of their last five matches.
Surrey’s Dan Lawrence has scored 94* & 20* in his last two Blast matches, and inbetween smashed 218 and 101 in the Championship against Hampshire, so his bat sounds rich with runs. Will Jacks has scored 24, 70 and 70* in his last three knocks in the Blast.
Warwickshire vs Sussex
Both teams have sucked up five defeats in seven matches, but Warwickshire have won their last two matches and come into the match as favourites at odds of 1.68.
Zen Malik scored 99 off 46 balls as Warwickshire piled on 224 off their 20 overs against Worcestershire. Malik added 177 for the second wicket with the in-form Beau Webster, who has scored 112, 64 and 79 in his last three Blast innings.
Verdict
Runs for Liam Livingstone, Dan Lawrence and Beau Webster.
