Gloucestershire vs Worcestershire

Both sides come into the match with back-to-back wins under their belt after their only loss of the season, and both have picked up some big wins, so it’s too tight to predict a winner. Gloucestershire’s D'Arcy Short has scored 23, 82 & 63 in his last three knocks and is worth backing to be his side’s top batter. Sikandar Raza took 4/17 in Worcestershire’s win over Glamorgan and has the form to be in the wickets again.

Nottinghamshire vs Derbyshire

North Group is super tight, but Nottinghamshire come into the match with back-to-back wins and have beaten Notts in their last two matches, one of which was a week ago in their earlier group match. George Munsey has discord 28, 37, 88* and 27 in his five matches this season, but I’m backing Mohammad Ali to take two or more wickets after picking up 2/37, 1/35, 2/35 and 3/27 in his last four matches.

Middlesex vs Essex

Middlesex are in a bad way after being hit with four defeats in five matches, while Essex are two-for-two, but their two wins have come in their last two matches. Essex’s Michael Pepper has scores of 52, 25 and 64 in his last four matches, but I’m backing Paul Walter who scored 58 in the season opener and followed that up with scores of 42* and 41 in his last two knocks.

Somerset vs Warwickshire

There doesn’t look like there’s anything in this contest was Warwickshire have lost all five of their matches this season, while Somerset have two wins but have lost their last three on the bounce. Somerset also beat them by seven wickets a fortnight ago, so they look strong favourites to take the win. Tom Banton has been Somerset’s top batter, scoring 30, 47, 59 and 39 in his last five innings.
