After losing to India for the second time in the tournament, Pakistan made it back-to-back wins by first beating Sri Lanka and then beating Bangladesh by 11 runs.

Pakistan slumped to 49/5 in the face of a strong bowling display from Bangladesh. The lower middle-order revived their innings, lifting them to a mediocre score of 135/8 off their 20 overs. Mohammad Haris (31 off 23) and Mohammad Nawaz (25 off 15) were the only batters to reach 20.

Shaheen Shah Afridi (3/17, econ 4.25) produced a magnificent spell to reduce Bangladesh to 73/6. Haris Rauf (3/33, econ 8.25) added key wickets as the Tigers were limited to 124/9 off their 20 overs.

Pakistan have won four from six, but have lost twice to India and their batting has been patchy even in victory. They need their batters to come to the party and might look to bring in a fresh batter.
