Leinster vs Toulon Predictions

  • Leinster have won 4 of their last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
  • Leinster have won 9 consecutive home matches in all competitions.
  • Toulon have won 2 of their last 5 away fixtures in all competitions.
  • Toulon have won 4 consecutive games against Leinster.

Head to Head

Toulon have the advantage with four victories to none against Leinster.

Leinster Form

Leinster eased past the Sale Sharks in the quarter-finals of the European Rugby Champions Cup recently, winning 43-13 at home.

Before that performance, Leinster defeated Edinburgh 49-31 at home in the round of 16.

Leinster have played two away matches in the United Rugby Championship since qualifying for the Investec Champions Cup semi-finals. They defeated Ulster 29-21 before losing 29-26 to Benetton.

Leinster have been in great shape at home in this edition of the competition, scoring plenty of points, and they have won nine consecutive fixtures at the Aviva Stadium, giving them the edge needed to come out on top against Toulon.

Toulon Form

Toulon secured a narrow 22-19 away victory over the Glasgow Warriors in the Investec Champions Cup quarter-finals recently.

Before that, Toulon defeated the Stormers at home 28-27 in a controversial round of 16 clash.

Toulon have contested two fixtures in the Top 14 since advancing to the European Rugby Champions Cup semi-finals. They defeated Montauban 47-22 away and thrashed Bayonne 52-26 at home.

Toulon have been in solid form throughout the competition so far, and have an excellent record against Leinster; however, their away form has lacked consistency this season.
