South Africa’s T20I form has been atrocious of late with nine defeats in their last 11 matches. Their last series was at home against Pakistan, a series the Proteas lost 3-1.

In the 4th T20 South Africa scored 144 runs as Rassie van der Dussen hit 52 runs. They were all out in the final over.

It turned out to be a nail-biting match as Pakistan scored with winning runs off the penultimate delivery of the match. It must be noted that during this series South Africa didn’t have a few of their first choice players available due to IPL commitments.
