Afghanistan ended their frustrating run of defeats with a comprehensive 53-run win against Zimbabwe.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz (39 off 25) and Ibrahim Zadran (52 off 33) set a solid base for Afghanistan to post a competitive score of 180/6 off their 20 overs.

Afghanistan rolled Zimbabwe for 127 off 16.1 overs, with Azmatullah Omarzai (3/29) and Mujeeb Ur Rahman (4/20) the destroyers-in-chief.
