Over their last six games in all competitions, the Italian side has won five. Their only defeat came in their last outing in mid-February when they suffered a 47-18 defeat to Leinster.

While that was always likely to end in defeat, it is a pity that this clash between two contenders is happening in the midst of the Six Nations. Neither side will be anywhere near full strength.

Benetton are missing a huge number of players to the Italian national side currently playing in the Six Nations. Their saving grace is Glasgow is also without some key players for the same reason.

Glasgow are three points off Leinster at the top of the URC table with seven wins in 10 games. They have also picked up eight bonus points, which puts them above many teams with similar results.

Recent form for the Warriors has been a tough inconsistent though. After beating Edinburgh at home in a derby, they lost away to the same opposition a week later.

Thereafter, Exeter beat Glasgow at home before the Warriors bounced back to beat Toulon and the Dragons in their last two outings.

With quite a few internationals away due to the Six Nations, the Warriors will be somewhat weakened. They should feature a similar side to the one that beat the Dragons last time out.
