Stade Francais vs La Rochelle Predictions - Stade Francais set to beat La Rochelle and advance to the semi-finals

Stade Francais had an excellent campaign at home in this edition of the Top 14, resulting in them securing a home quarter-final match against La Rochelle for a place in the semi-finals. 

The Parisian club finished 3rd in the standings with 79 points from 26 games.

Les Soldats Roses have been in fine form at home in the French Rugby Championship this season. They defeated Montauban 47-24, Bordeaux 28-7, La Rochelle 26-24, Montpellier 35-12, Toulon 51-24, drew 20-20 with Racing 92, defeated Castres 33-15, and lost 13-9 to Toulouse before beating Perpignan 42-21, Clermont 64-20, Pau 34-32, Lyon 59-17, and Bayonne 38-21.

Stade Francais have played their best rugby at home this season, and have a superior record over La Rochelle at their stadium, winning 12 of their last 13 clashes, including seven in a row. 

La Rochelle secured a quarter-final place in this edition of the Top 14 after a late surge in form during the closing months of the regular season, winning six in a row. 

Stade Rochelais placed 6th in the table with 72 points from 26 matches.

Les Maritimes had some success away from home towards the end of their French Rugby Championship campaign. They lost 23-18 to Bordeaux, 37-13 to Montpellier, 36-24 to Stade Francais, defeated Lyon 36-19, lost 39-14 to Toulon, 53-33 to Pau, 60-14 to Toulouse, 32-27 to Clermont, beat Castres 31-26, and lost 26-15 to Bayonne before defeating Perpignan 31-29, Racing 92 26-24, and Montauban 71-15. 

La Rochelle found form in the latter stages of their campaign to make the play-offs, but will have to play well to beat Stade Francais in their own backyard, as their opponents have won 11 of their 13 home matches this season, including five in a row.
