Bulls vs Stormers Preview
If ever there was a tough game to call, this is it. The North-South derby, the biggest local game in South Africa and it could go either way. The Stormers have won the last four times they played the Bulls and are on a six-match winning streak.

On the other hand, the Bulls have won their last four and last eight on home soil. The six-point handicap with the hosts as favourites is a bit much though, so I am backing the Stormers to get inside that handicap and perhaps win the game.

- Stormers have won their last 4 matches against the Bulls.
Head to Head
Stormers have won their last four matches against the Bulls. They met late last year, a match the Stormers won 26-20 at home.
Bulls Form
The Bulls are third on the URC table with seven wins from their 10 matches. They are just four points off Leinster at the top and a point behind second place.
Jake White’s side come into this weekend’s clash full of confidence with a four-match winning streak under their belt. In fact, their last defeat came away to the Stormers just before Christmas last year.
Since then, the Bulls have seen off Bristol and Bordeaux in the Champions Cup and beaten the Lions home and away.
Bulls Injuries & Team News
Bulls will be at full strength this weekend after a two-week break.
Stormers Form
In the first two seasons of the South African sides joining the URC, the Stormers have been the most successful side. They won the tournament at their first attempt before ending as runners-up last season.
However, this year has been a bit different. Inconsistency has plagued John Dobson’s side as they find themselves in sixth place with six wins and four defeats in the URC. While the Cape Town-based outfit still looks odds on the make the playoffs, getting into the top four will be a priority.
Just five points separate the Stormers and Bulls on the table so should the Stormers manage an away win on Saturday, the table could look a whole lot more interesting.
While inconsistent earlier in the season, the Stormers have found their mojo again and are on a six match winnings streak. They have beaten La Rochelle, the Bulls, Sharks, Sale, Stade Francais and Sharks in that run.
Stormers Injuries & Team News
John Dobson will no doubt select a similar side to that which beat the Sharks a couple of weeks ago.
Verdict
I am backing the Stormers to get within the six-point handicap and perhaps win at Loftus.
