United Rugby Championship Semi-Finals Odds & Tips - Bulls & Stormers look for upsets to reach URC final

The United Rugby Championship semi-finals on June 6, 2026, see two South African teams, the Bulls and Stormers, both facing difficult away fixtures. Glasgow and Leinster are strong favourites, having not lost on home turf this season, though Glasgow’s 'home' game is at Murrayfield. The Bulls have a history of strong home performances but face long odds in Scotland, while the Stormers will be without a key player and face an even tougher challenge against dominant Leinster. Upsets are possible but unlikely—the hosts are the clear picks to cover their respective handicaps.

On Saturday, 6 June 2026, the United Rugby Championship semi-finals take place with two South African sides participating - one in each game.

First, at 15:30 SAST, the Bulls face Glasgow at Murrayfield, a game Glasgow are favourites to win while Leinster host the Stormers at 18:30 SAST.

Both fixtures see the hosts as favourites considering neither of the two hosts have lost at home in the URC all season. That said, Murrayfield is not where Glasgow play their home games, only finals, such as this.

Below we take a look at the odds on offer for each game and where you can find value. We have used Easybet for all the odds. For a 100% deposit match on Easybet, see our promo code page.

Glasgow Warriors vs Bulls
Saturday, 6 June @ 15:30 SAST

These two have played each other twice this season with Glasgow playing host for both fixtures. One fixture was in the URC and the other in the round of 16 Champions Cup - Glasgow won both games, but neither was straightforward.

The handicap on offer sees Glasgow at -4.5 and paying 1.90 - the Bulls pay the same on +4.5. For the outright result, the Warriors are priced at 1.53 while the Bulls are valued at 2.37.

Of the two semis', this is certainly the one game which could see an upset given the Bulls superb form over the last month to six weeks. However, most of that good form has been in front of the Loftus faithful, not in Scotland where you'd struggle to find a Bulls top in the crowd.

Glasgow are also unbeaten at home, although Murrayfield is not their official home ground. Regardless, they have been strong under Franco Smith for the past few years, and it will take some performance from the Bulls to get a win against the odds here.

Leinster vs Stormers
Saturday, 6 June @ 18:30 SAST

Leinster may still be reeling from their European Champions Cup final defeat a couple of weeks back, but last week they bounced back superbly to thrash the Lions in the quarter final.

The Stormers, along with the Bulls, have been the top performing South African side since joining the URC. However, they have been largely disappointing on the road and playing Leinster away is arguably the toughest game in the entire competition.

This is reflected in the odds with Leinster priced at 1.28 to win while the Stormers will pay 3.50 to cause a massive shock. To make matters worse, the Stormers will be without talisman flyhalf, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomuzulu, who misses this fixture through injury - if the ask was big before, it just got a lot bigger for the Cape Town-based side.

The handicap is set at 13.5 points, which in my opinion is quite generous as Leinster have been very good at home and the Stormers below par on the road. It will arguably take the performance of the season for the Stormers to get close in this one.

The one slight hope for the Stormers is that Leinster do on occasion slack off in the URC and have imploded at home in the playoffs before against Munster a couple years back. However, I will not be risking a cent here, Leinster to cover 13.5 all day long.

Verdict

If you want to look at an upset result, back the Bulls to do it, but my gut is telling me Glasgow will cover 4.5 and Leinster will cover 13.5 against the Stormers.
