Simon Msuva’s half penalty gave Tanzania the lead against Uganda but they allowed a late equaliser and were fortunate when Uganda’s Allan Okello missed a penalty in added time.
Tanzania sneaked into the Round of 16 after a hard fought 1-1 draw against Tunisia. They registered two shots on target and 0.18 xG, Feisal Salum equalising in the second half.
