Raja Casablanca are one behind rivals Wydad Casablanca as they sit second in the Botola Pro League. They reached the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-finals after topping their groups with six wins and six clean sheets with 13 goals scored.

After a 2-0 win against Nkana final CAF Confederations Cup group match, Raja drew 1-1 at Renaissance Zemamra before losing on penalties in the cup at FAR Rabat. A 1-0 win against Maghreb Fès followed before a 1-1 home draw with FUS Rabat.

After drawing the first leg 1-1 against Pirates having trailed 1-0, Raja won 2-0 at Mouloudia Oujda in the league on Thursday. Ben Malango and Fabrice Ngoma scored the goals.

Raja Casablanca Injuries & Team News

Raja coach Lassaad Chabbi is expected to play the same starting XI that featured in the first leg against Pirates have made a couple of changes on Thursday in the league.

Defenders Mohamed Souboul and Sanad Al Warfali remain doubtful. Abdelilah Hafidi Abderrahim Achchakir are carrying knocks but should be fit as the latter made the bench against Pirates.

Orlando Pirates Form

Pirates have hit poor form at the wrong time with one win in their last seven matches. They reached the quarter-final stage after finishing second in their CAF Confederations Cup group despite losing their final match and winning just twice in six matches.

Pirates drew 1-1 at Swallows before losing 1-0 at Enyimba and 3-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns. A 3-0 win against Black Leopards followed before being thoroughly dominated by Stellenbosch but surviving to draw 0-0.

In their last match, Pirates took a lead through Vincent Pule against Raja Casablanca but could only draw 1-1 in the first leg.

Orlando Pirates Injuries & Team News

Pirates had attacker Thembinkosi Lorch back as a substitute last week and he should start this clash. First choice goalkeeper Richard Ofori is fit after injury to play but Happy Jele remains a doubt in defence.

Pirates are expected to be without striker Tshegofatso Mabasa and winger Terrence Dzvukamanja but Gabadinho Mhango should start up front.
