Getafe vs Brighton
Brighton head to Spain after beating Manchester City 1-0 away in an excellent response to their 2-0 league defeat at Liverpool. The Seagulls have collected four Conference League points after thrashing Kauno Zalgiris 4-0 before drawing 0-0 at Jablonec.
Getafe's continental form is far less reassuring: they drew 1-1 at Craiova before conceding five goals to Lugano, but their morale was lifted by a 3-1 La Liga win over Sevilla as well as a 3-2 win in the Spanish cup. Getafe's porous recent defensive record points towards a match with plenty of goals but Brighton's measured away performances should make this a narrower call than the form might suggest.
Monaco vs FC Nordsjaelland
Monaco have been far sharper in Europe than domestically in Ligue 1. They beat CSKA Sofia 2-1 and Freiburg 3-0 in the Conference League, but a 3-1 defeat to Paris FC and a 1-1 draw with Lille have highlighted their recent domestic struggles.
Nordsjaelland are winless in their last five competitive fixtures, including a 3-2 defeat to Midtjylland, but they have scored twice in successive Conference League draws against Hearts and CSKA Sofia. Both sides carry goal threats but Monaco have the deeper squad with the ability to exploit an often generous Danish defence.
FC Twente vs Pafos FC
Twente come into Round 3 on a goal-scoring spree having beaten Excelsior 9-0 on Sunday, with Wout Weghorst hitting four goals. Prior to that rout they defeated AZ 2-0 and Lincoln Red Imps 4-1, with Thomas van den Belt scoring twice in Gibraltar.
Pafos have drawn four of their last five matches including a 2-2 draw at Apollon Limassol and 1-1 against Riga, only to lose 3-1 at Atalanta. The visitors have conceded in six consecutive European outings but Twente must avoid complacency: Excelsior played almost the entire 9-0 game a man short and Weghorst has had a hamstring concern.
Panathinaikos vs CSKA Sofia
Panathinaikos are building serious momentum. Their last five competitive games include league wins over AEK Athens and Volos, a 5-1 win at Kairat and a 5-1 home success against Asteras Tripoli. Cyriel Dessers has led their goal threat while a 2-1 victory over Borac opened their Conference League campaign.
CSKA Sofia drew 2-2 at Nordsjaelland after losing 2-1 to Monaco, but their domestic results since then include a win over Ludogorets and a goalless draw with Slavia Sofia. The home side look stronger but the match-result price alone is short, so a home win combined with three goals offers a better-value angle.
