Arsenal return to the Emirates for the first time since football's resumption with a clash against Norwich City in the Premier League on Wednesday evening. The Gunners should have far too much in attack for the Canaries to handle.

Arsenal's first game back ended in a 3-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City. They then suffered another away loss at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1.

The Gunners improved since, winning 2-0 in the Premier League at St Mary’s against Southampton and a 2-1 away victory against Sheffield United in the FA Cup..

This is Arsenal's first home game since the end of the lockdown break.

Centre-back Pablo Mari remains out as done first-choice goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Midfielder Lucas Torreira will also miss the clash alongside right-back Cedric Soares. Fellow right-back Calum Chambers is touch and go but is unlikely to feature until he is match-fit.

Norwich City's hopes of staying in the Premier League took a massive hit since the restart. A 3-0 home loss to Southampton was quickly followed by a 1-0 defeat to Everton at Carrow Road.

In their previous fixture, also on home soil, the Canaries lost 2-1 to Manchester United after extra time in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Defenders Sam Byram, Christoph Zimmermann and Grant Hanley are all expected to miss this clash for Norwich. City manager Daniel Farke has however hinted at heavy rotation after their last match went the full 120 minutes against Manchester United.
