Head-to-Head

Everton have a 22-15 advantage against Crystal Palace in 55 meetings with 18 draws.

Everton Form

Everton’s three match unbeaten run was ended by a 3-2 home loss against Brentford on Sunday. The Toffees previously beat Chelsea (1-0), Leicester (2-1) and drew at Watford (0-0).

Everton led 2-1 at half time against Brentford as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison scored before the break. Jarrad Braithwaite and Salomon Rondon were sent off before Brentford came back to earn all three points.

Dropped points leave Frank Lampard’s side two points off the Premier League relegation zone with two games remaining.

Everton Injuries

Defenders Ben Godfrey and Michael Keane and midfielder Donny van de Beek are doubtful.

Striker Salomón Rondón and defender Jarrad Braithwaite are suspended.

Midfielder Fabian Delph, winger Andros Townsend and defensive pair Yerry Mina and Nathan Patterson are out.

Crystal Palace Form

Crystal Palace extended their unbeaten run to four in the Premier League with a 1-1 draw at Aston Villa. Palace had chances with 1.43-0.89 expected goals, but they conceded with 20 minutes remaining before Jeffery Schlupp equalised late on.

The Eagles also drew with Leeds (0-0) and beat Southampton (2-1) and Watford (1-0) during their mini-unbeaten streak. Decent form secured Palace’s Premier League safety in recent weeks and they sit in 13th place.

Crystal Palace Injuries

Midfielder James McArthur is doubtful.

Defender Nathan Ferguson is out.

Verdict

Everton are missing a lot of first-team players and they have shown frailties in recent matches by dropping points. They are likely to be held by an in-form Palace side.
