Jurgen Klopp’s side are in better form in the Premier League and have won three consecutive matches.

A 2-1 home win against Aston Villa followed wins over Arsenal and Wolves, which keeps Liverpool in sixth and four points off the top four.

Liverpool’s solid away form has also helped their chances of Champions League football next season. The Reds are in sixth place and three points off West Ham in fourth.

The Reds have won five of their last six away matches in the Premier League, including 3-1 victories away over European hopefuls Spurs and West Ham.
