Centre back Jonny Evans could return from an ankle knock. 

Defenders James Justin and Wes Morgan are ruled out through injury.

Forward Harvey Barnes is also unavailable with a knee injury.

Newcastle lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal on Sunday, ending their four-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.

The Magpies struggled to get a foothold in the match with just 38% possession and one shot on target.
