Manchester City are far from the invincible side of the last few seasons. They are dropping points home and away, so there is value on Palace in this fixture.

Head to Head

Manchester City hold a 38-17 advantage over Crystal Palace in 72 encounters along with 17 draws.

Man City Form

Pep Guardiola’s Man City are sixth in the Premier League after a disappointing campaign. The reigning champions have won just once in their previous four league matches.

City lost 1-0 at Nottingham Forest and drew 2-2 at home with Brighton before the March internationals. They return with a 2-1 FA Cup win at Bournemouth and a 2-0 home victory against Leicester.

The Citizens couldn’t build winning momentum and drew 0-0 against rivals Man United. Guardiola’s side were outplayed, allowing 1.23 XG and 13 shots, but held out for a point.

Man City Injuries & Team News

Midfielder Rodri and striker Erling Haaland are out with long-term injuries.

Defensive trio Manuel Akanji, John Stones and Nathan Aké are also unavailable.

Forward Savinho has assisted 10 goals in all competitions this season and is likely to start.

Crystal Palace Form

Crystal Palace are pushing for a top-half Premier League finish after strong recent results. Palace have taken 13 points from their last five league matches - more than any other top-flight side.

The Eagles won five matches in a row from February to March, including 2-0 and 3-0 wins at Fulham. This winning spell ended with a 1-1 draw at Southampton.

Oliver Glasner’s side replied to that stalemate with a 2-1 home triumph against Brighton. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Daniel Munoz hit the net to give Palace an 11th win in 14.

Crystal Palace Injuries & Team News

Defender Marc Guéhi and striker Eddie Nketiah are suspended.

Midfielder Cheick Doucouré and centre-back Chadi Riad are injured and won’t feature.

Verdict

Man City v Crystal Palace

Man City have some key players out and are struggling for cohesion. Confident and in-form, Palace can keep their long away unbeaten run rolling with a win or draw at the Etihad.
