Man United vs West Ham Predictions

Man United will be confident after a big Europa League home win on Thursday and can beat West Ham. These sides concede a lot in the Premier League and goals are also anticipated at Old Trafford.

Man United have seen BTTS in their last 2 matches.

Head to Head

Man United have a 74-49 advantage against West Ham in 155 meetings with 32 draws.

Man United Form

Man United are 15th in the Premier League and cannot finish in the top half of the table this season.

United are in decent form in all competitions, losing just one of their previous four. The Red Devils held Bournemouth to a 1-1 draw, beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0 and lost 4-3 at Brentford.

Ruben Amorim’s side progressed to the Europa League final following a 4-1 home victory against Bilbao. United trailed 1-0 before Mason Mount, Casemiro and Rasmus Hojlund got on the scoresheet.

Man United Injuries

Defenders Ayden Heaven, Lisandro Martínez, Matthijs de Ligt and Diogo Dalot are injured.

Midfielder Toby Collyer and forward Joshua Zirkzee are also out with injuries.

West Ham Form

Graham Potter’s West Ham are winless in eight successive Premier League matches and have just two wins in 14.

The Hammers have lost four games during their winless streak, including three consecutive defeats on the road. Away losses came at Wolves 1-0, Liverpool 2-1 and Brighton 3-2 in this period.

West Ham came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home against Tottenham last time out. Jarrod Bowen’s first-half goal cancelled out Spurs’ opener and West Ham had just two shots on target.

West Ham Injuries

Attacking pair Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville won’t feature here due to injury.

Verdict

Man Utd v West Ham

Man United can end their winless run in the Premier League against a West Ham side lacking any cohesion. United and the Hammers rarely keep the goals out and there is also value on BTTS.
