Hugo Broos names 38 players for Panama Double Header
Bafana Bafana’s Belgian head coach Hugo Broos has named the preliminary squad to face Panama in two international friendlies later in March.
South Africa will host the first clash on 27 March at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The second meeting between the nations will be held at Cape Town Stadium on 31 March.
Key Omissions
As usual, Hugo Broos has made some major omissions from his squad. There is no room for in-form Gift Links of Aarhus GF nor Thembinkosi Lorch of Al-Ittihad SC.
Some of those from the African Cup of Nations squad who were dropped or not available are Siyabonga Ngezana (Steaua Bucharest), Bathusi Aubaas (Mamelodi Sundowns), Sipho Mbule (Orlando Pirates), Shandre Campbell (Club Brugge) and Elias Mokwana (Al Hazem).
