Head to Head

Zimbabwe have a slight edge with two victories to one against Burkina Faso, including one draw in four meetings.

Burkina Faso Form

Burkina Faso lost 2-0 to Tunisia in an international friendly at the start of the week, conceding both goals in the second half.

Before that loss, Burkina Faso secured a 4-1 victory against Djibouti at home and a 2-1 win over Guinea-Bissau away in recent World Cup qualifiers in March.

Burkina Faso played six Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches between September and November last year. They drew 1-1 against Senegal, beat Malawi 3-1, and Burundi 4-1 and 2-0 in the return match before losing 1-0 to Senegal and 3-0 to Malawi.

The Stallions have won two of their last five fixtures, including three losses. They scored six goals and conceded eight.

Burkina Faso have lacked consistency in recent outings and will find the going tough against a Zimbabwe side that has often drawn their matches lately.
