Head to Head

Cameroon have a commanding lead of seven victories to one against Equatorial Guinea, including two draws in ten meetings.

Equatorial Guinea Form

Equatorial Guinea came up short against the Gambia last weekend, losing by two goals to one.

All the action came in the first half after the Gambia took the lead after 13 minutes of play and went further ahead in the first minute of stoppage time before Equatorial Guinea pulled a goal back three minutes later.

In March, Equatorial Guinea contested two World Cup qualifying fixtures. They defeated Sao Tome & Principe 2-0 at home before drawing 1-1 against Namibia.

The Leopards have won one in their last five matches, including two losses and two draws. They scored five goals and conceded six.

Equatorial Guinea have been struggling to win their matches lately, which is not ideal when facing a Cameroon team that have scored six goals in their recent fixtures.

Cameroon Form

Cameroon cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory against Uganda in their international friendly last weekend.

Cameroon scored their opening goal in the 34th minute of the match to take a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.

Cameroon doubled their tally three minutes after the restart and grabbed their third goal against Uganda after 69 minutes of play.

Before that result, Cameroon played two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March, drawing 0-0 against Eswatini away before beating Libya 3-1 at home.

The Indomitable Lions have won three of their last five games, including two draws. They scored eight goals and let in two at the back.

Cameroon have been playing well in recent outings and will fancy their chances against an inconsistent Equatorial Guinea side.
