Kenya Form

Kenya extended their unbeaten run in the CAF African Nations Championship to four matches after edging Zambia 1-0 last weekend.

Kenya had no answer in the first half against Zambia, going into the break on level terms.

Kenya continued to press for an opening in the second half and scored the winning goal after 75 minutes of play.

The Harambee Stars had 59% possession and 16 shots during the game, with seven on target.

Earlier in the tournament, Kenya beat the DR Congo 1-0, drew 1-1 against Angola, and defeated Morocco 1-0.

The Harambee Stars have won four of their last five fixtures, including one loss. They scored six goals and conceded two.

Kenya have the home-ground advantage for their quarter-final clash with Madagascar and have conceded only one goal in the tournament, giving them the edge needed to secure the winning result.

Madagascar Form

Madagascar secured their place in the CAF African Nations quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory against Burkina Faso last weekend.

Madagascar had the perfect start against Burkina Faso, taking the lead after seven minutes of play before their opponents levelled matters at the 25-minute mark.

Madagascar regained their advantage from a penalty kick in the 58th minute of the match, which was to be the winning goal.

Bareas had 44% possession and ten shots in the game, with three attempts on target.

Madagascar drew 0-0 against Mauritania, lost 2-1 to Tanzania, and defeated the Central African Republic 2-0 in their other group games.

The Bareas have recorded two victories in their last five fixtures, including two losses and one draw. They scored five goals and conceded four.

Madagascar have done well in their previous two outings in the tournament, but have a tricky quarter-final against a Kenya side that has won three of their last four matches.
