Key Stats – Rotated Sundowns XI to Progress

TS Galaxy have lost 4 of their last 6 matches vs Mamelodi Sundowns.
TS Galaxy have failed to score in 4 of their last 7 matches.
Mamelodi Sundowns have won their last 2 matches.
Mamelodi Sundowns are unbeaten in 13 of their last 15 away matches (2 wins in last 4).

Head to Head – Sundowns Dominate this Fixture

Mamelodi Sundowns hold an 8-2 advantage versus TS Galaxy with two draws in 10 meetings.

Sundowns won 1-0 at home when the clubs last met in November.

Rockets in Freefall – Six Losses in Last 12

TS Galaxy have lost six of their last 12 matches in all competitions. Their goals have dried up with four blanks fired in the last seven matches.

After drawing 0-0 in their two matches before the AFCON break, they resumed with a 2-0 home win over Marumo Gallants. A 3-2 loss at AmaZulu and a 1-0 home defeat to Sekhukhune United followed.

The Rockets scored in extra time to beat Marumo Gallants 1-0 in the Nedbank Cup round of 32. Last Friday, they lost 2-0 away to Durban City in the league after two second half goals.

Huge Week – Sundowns Reach CAF Knockouts & Beat Pirates

Sundowns have won just five of their last ten fixtures across all competitions. They’ve reached the CAF Champions League quarter-finals and closed the gap to the PSL summit in midweek.

A 2-0 at Sekhukhune United was followed by a shock 2-1 defeat away to Al-Hilal. A 2-1 home win over Gomora United in the Nedbank Cup was followed by drawing 1-1 in Congo vs St Eloi Lupopo.

Sundowns got two huge results this week, firstly beating MC Alger 2-0 in a must-win CAF match. On Wednesday, they won 2-1 away at Orlando Pirates to move three points off the log leaders.

Predicted Lineups & Team News

TS Galaxy (4-2-3-1): Tape; Fisher, Mahlangu, Salatiel, Letsoenyo; Mgaga, Mbunjana; Mahlambi, Keita, Zindoga; Letsoalo.
